Surathkal : After taking over the bakery scene in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Mangalore, Udupi and Shirva - Ribbons and Balloons has opened yet another branch and this time in the beautiful town of Surathkal. On the 25th of August, an inaugural ceremony was hosted in the store front which is located in Vijay mahal on Surathkal Main road. It was such a warm occasion, as people from every part of the town came to the store to relish the delicious cakes and baked treats that was on offer.
The bakery was declared officially open with a ceremonious cutting of a fabulous cake. The store was inaugurated by Shri. Bhujanga Shetty , former President Bunt Sangha , Mumbai. The master franchisee owner of 'Ribbons and Balloons' Mr.C.A Sathish Shetty, Former President of Bunt Sangha Surathkal Shri. Ullas R Shetty Permude, Relegious leader Shri. Kadambadi Mahabala Poojari, President of the Bunt Sangha Bantwal Shri. Nagriguthu Vivek Shetty, Shri. Uday Shetty from hotel woodlands in Mumbai, Shri. Rajendra Shetty the CMD of Sunraj group of Industries in Mumbai also the owner of Surathkal Franchisee were the dignitaries present.
This new outlet at Surathkal is the 6th in South Kanara under a year's time and also the 123rd to be established in the whole of India making it one of the fastest growing brands. There are also plans to put up 34 more outlets between Kasaragod and Kundapur.
Friends & family from nearby places flocked into the newly opened bakery and the localites relished the delicious cakes and pastries. The savouries at Ribbons and Balloons is of unmatched quality and are made available starting at just ₹15/- which makes it the go to place for students too. The Blueberry pastry, Choco Mocha, Chocolate truffle and Rainbow pastry emerged as absolute favorites among the customers.
